Recently, we had the chance to interview Sara Santos Córcoles, CMO at Woonkly, to know more about her point of view and insight about the project development in the next months.
What is the value that Woonkly provides to the user? Is it also useful for users without previous experience in blockchain?
“Woonkly provides plenty of value, it’s a company that does what it announces. Not only this is a startup that came successfully out of an ICO. Most of the companies that try to raise funds fail to achieve their goals, or the money ends up being used by the owners instead of dedicated to the company growth.” — explains Sara about this question.

Advertisers
Also, it is possible for advertisers to create a niche in the market with an audience interested in their content and generating measurable statistics. Today, advertising clips are not accountable, they may play o YouTube or TV, but you (as the advertiser) ignore if the viewer watched the content or not. Woonkly introduces an algorithm that verifies if the viewer was paying attention and measures the interaction with the content.

At Woonkly, we are making a user-friendly, simple, intuitive, and responsive platform that even beginners with crypto can learn to use as they go. Thus, they can earn tokens by watching videos or promoting your products and services.” — Sara explains to us about the experience for beginners at Woonkly.
The main idea is that by clicking 3 buttons, the end-user will have a WOONK wallet with gas charged and ready to use. So, they can make use of their tokens immediately, in the long term they will also be able to use our internal exchange to make transactions. ¡They do not even need to know what exchange or how it works!
In your opinion, what is the main innovation that Woonkly introduces to the user and the influencer?
The main innovation relies on the fact that the platform has an Activity Token and a Security at the same time both connected to the blockchain. As a platform, this is a COMPLETELY NEW concept.
To the end-user, as the leading innovation, there is the possibility to earn money, not only watching videos and getting WOONK but also by becoming a WST token holder to get an extra income as the company grows.
Woonkly shares 100% of their earning with the WST tokenholders. There is no other company sharing this much revenue with their clien base.
To influencers, there is not only the option to have a channel with their videos to get accountable metrics, so they can know how many users watched each video and make sure they have — in fact — paid attention to the content.
What’s more, Sara explains the opportunity this way: “And, this is not only meant for influencers, let us imagine a company like Coca Cola, a business that is famous worldwide, they would have their profile with campaigns focused to various audiences. Any user could see Coca Cola’s profile on the platform to know how many people are interested in their product and what profiles have the best results. And, Coca Cola is a very generic example, it could be a more specific case like “Patines Las Américas de Granada”, or a new singer who wants to spread the word on the music and link you to the YouTube channel.”

For businesses, influencers, products, and services, Woonkly is a user-friendly platform where any user can broadcast their media to get more visibility, connect with their fans or followers through videos. From the user perspective, it is more profitable to watch videos on Wooknly rather than on other platforms where there is no revenue to get for the time spent.
What is your experience as a mother during the lockdown and amidst the global crisis in 2020?
“It is all complicated given that this is a new situation unseen before. I manage it the best I can, luckily my husband also teleworks with us. We both rotate to take care of our girl, either in the morning or afternoons, the evening is for the family.” — Sara comments about her daily routine.
I have been a mother for 4 months only before I used to work all day and I would go wherever I needed. I didn’t have to be at the office every day. I have helped most users, some of them have contacted me at 3 AM and other at 5 PM, in any case, they got a reply from me. Now my schedules are a bit tighter but they get the reply timely!
I try to make do the same way with my girl. During the lockdown, we initially tried to work at the same time but this was not good since the baby would need more attention. So, in the end, the best way is to take turns to look after the baby. When I am taking care of her, I am only doing that. Unless there is an emergency, I do not grab the laptop. Now, I also apply the same approach to the project, when I am working on Wooknly I focus 100%.
Whenever my baby takes a nap, I get to work a bit. We are a bit workaholics and there is always a user to help and something to do. What most interests me is that everything goes smoothly making everyone happy about it. The company is expanding in every front — so if I have to work until 4 AM, whatever it takes.
In my opinion, if you stay home to take care of your children and work at the same time, you cannot do both. It is more effective to leave the office a few hours or to lock myself during that time. Focus is the key to keep standards.
“Maybe other moms can look after their children and work at the same time but this is not my case. My baby wants me to pay attention to her ALL the time. I can’t imagine how this is going to escalate in some months!” — Sara tells us while chuckling.
Do you believe the blockchain sector and Woonkly will keep afloat in the next month in the post-crisis new mainstream?
Yes, absolutely, this pandemic has teached us what businesses are unexpendeble and which ones survive. Even if we are not in the former group, we are belong at the latter.
We have an online business that repays users and helps them to get extra income. So, we reduce advertising costs while sharing revenue with the viewers in comparison with other alternatives.
In the “new mainstream” the online businesses have duplicated their profits and showed that those who survived are those who have better digital UX/UI. The remote operations may not be affected as much during new outbreaks. Businesses without a consolidated online presence have been hard-hit by the service disruption during the lockdown.
Digital and remote services are more relevant than before because this is a channel less prone to be disrupted by a new pandemic.
Here, I only speak about online businesses in general, if we focus on blockchain and cryptocurrencies — I think this is the future. The security that blockchain provides and the opportunities that arise are unheard of in regular businesses. As time goes on, the technology will be implemented in other businesses and the end-user will not even realize they are using blockchain in the background when the UX is polished a bit more.
We are and will be leaders in the development of the blockchain sector.
What is coming in the next months for Woonkly?
There are several plans for Woonkly, we have been programming and thinking for 3 years how to improve the product. The users who have been supporting us since the beginning have witnessed how Woonkly has evolved until today.
We have not stopped a day.
Woonkly 3.0 will not be the last version, but the more stable one until now. Woonkly will keep developing, we look forward to having an internal exchange, with user-friendly for beginner users, we want them to be able to sync their accounts with our bank Saurus in the future so they can withdraw money from the platform to their accounts, and many other updates that we will implement progressively!
For now, Woonkly 3.0 is the most secure platform we have developed, with increased simplicity in the usability of crypto. Moreover, you will have an ETH wallet integrated with the service for major convenience.
The next steps include some audits for Woonkly and we even plan to do a hackathon. Of course, whenever we get to a stable-enough platform, we want to implement the mobile apps on Android and iOS so that our users can have an easier time checking their accounts.
