The new version of Woonkly enables users to connect to Web 3.0 using just their email, social networks, or mobile number
In v3, they can access the decentralized social network of NFTs without needing to create a wallet or have prior knowledge on the subject. Now NFTs are easy for and accessible to everyone
Woonkly’s goal has been clear since they launched their first version of the decentralized social network of NFTs in December 2021. Their mission is to create the most advanced Web 3.0 NFT platform that is easy to use and accessible to all types of audiences, even for those without prior knowledge of blockchain technology and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). This goal becomes a reality today with the launch of Version 3 (v3) of the woonkly.com platform.
With each version, the functionalities available to users, influencers, companies, gamers, metaverses, Play-To-Earn games, or non-profit organizations have multiplied. V3 has great news and never before seen functions, all united on the same platform. One of the most striking new functionalities is the ability to create an account on Woonkly using other, existing accounts on traditional social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or even an email address or via SMS, just by entering a mobile phone number.
Daniel Santos, CEO, and founder of Woonkly stated that “Social Logins” will mark a before and after in the way people interact with Web 3.0.
“Before, it was necessary to have a digital wallet in Metamask, Trustwallet, or other services to be able to access any blockchain platform. With the launch of Woonkly v3, entering and taking advantage of the benefits of blockchain technology and NFTs will be accessible to everyone. You just need to use your email, mobile phone number, or social networks to create a Woonkly account and start creating NFTs, which is very easy on our platform,” he said.
Redeemable or Real Life NFTs
Another novel update to the Woonkly marketplace is the functionality of “Redeem” or redeemable NFTs. The button is located where you see the three option dots on each NFT and is only available, for security, to verified users (with the blue tick).
“With this functionality, adding new real-world utilities to NFTs becomes very easy for users. Imagine that you have a craft drinks store and you want to offer your customers the option of purchasing them through NFTs. You can then create some cool designs associated with the brand, upload them to Woonkly.com and activate the “Redeem” function. When the person sees that there is a physical product listed in the description of the NFT and then buys it, the “Redeem” button will appear activated (if they are not a verified user, the button will be inactive). When they press the “Redeem” button, the system will request data that will automatically be sent to the seller via mail. The seller must then proceed to send the physical product or service offered in the NFT description to the purchaser.”
The possibilities with redeemable NFTs are vast. Artists will be able to offer their art in both digital and physical formats. Beyond that, all users will be able to utilize the platform as their own secure, transparent online store with everything being fully traceable, since all activity is registered in the blockchain.
It is important to note that this is an almost completely decentralized transaction between the seller and the buyer of the redeemable NFT, who will both have to have verified profiles (with the blue tick) for security reasons. Woonkly never stores third party data and, therefore, will not monitor the shipping process and will not be able to attend to any complaint or incident that may occur during the transaction.
* How to get the blue verification tick on your profile?
To get the blue tick, users must enter their profile, click on the three option dots, then click on “Verify profile” and enter the requested data. Once this is done, the blue tick will appear at the bottom of the profile picture automatically.
New Networks on Woonkly: Polygon and Velas
In the new version of Woonkly.com, users will also be able to create their NFTs on the Polygon and Velas Official networks. In the case of Polygon, it is an integration to the platform, however, in the case of Velas it goes much further, since it is a collaboration between the two companies in terms of listing NFT assets, exclusive collections, development of metaverses and much more.
These two networks join the Binance Smart Chain (BNB Chain) network, ethereum and Avalanche, already integrated with Woonkly from previous versions.
“NFT Aggregator:” NFTs from Other Marketplaces on Woonkly
Among the range of new features of Woonkly v3, is the NFT Aggregator. The NFT Aggregator is a new panel in which users will be able to view the most traded and outstanding collections from other NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea and Rarible.
Users will be able to find the new panel in the top menu of Woonkly.com and will be able to filter the most popular collections by volume, base price, owner and supply. In the coming weeks, interaction with these NFTs will be enabled and users will need to connect their wallet to buy them or participate in the auction without leaving the Woonkly platform.
NFT Drop and Bulk Collection: Bulk Collections and Marketing
Another one of the most interesting new features offered by Woonkly is the possibility of creating Bulk Collections or batch collections and generating the minting page and a marketing campaign to promote them within the Woonkly marketplace itself, without prior knowledge of computer code (as required in other NFT marketplaces).
To create a bulk collection, users must click on the “Create” button and select the Bulk Collection option. Once in the creation panel, you will be able to bulk upload a collection of an unlimited number of NFTs, with a maximum weight of 1 GB. Users can then add a title, description, co-creators, royalties, and list whether it is a redeemable collection, among other things.
Beyond the features of the collection, creators will be able to create their own minting page, offer the option to sign up for the collection’s whitelist, a countdown of when the collection’s NFTs will be revealed, the NFT project roadmap, and the ability to connect the collection with the rest of their social networks and share them directly from Woonkly.com.
Upcoming Collections: Where to find NFT Drops on Woonkly
NFT collectors can now find all the collections created on Woonkly in the Upcoming Collections section, easily accessible in the top menu of the social network. In this new panel, the Woonkly Launchpad collections are displayed, with the network where they were created, the date of the reveal, the whitepaper and the whitelist. It is possible to filter them by network, collection status and whether the collection is from a verified user or not.
“The Upcoming panel is very useful for NFT collectors. Being able to see whether or not a user is verified through the blue verification tick allows buyers to be sure that the seller is who they say they are. For example, if a famous footballer creates a collection on our platform and the footballer’s profile has passed our verification process, he will have the blue tick and therefore all his collections will too. This offers the guarantee to buyers that it really is that person. This is very relevant because to date, NFT marketplaces do not offer any proof of identity or guarantee that you are interacting with real people,” explained Santos.
Don’t know where to see your NFTs? Woonkly’s NFT Importer does
Users of NFTs often don’t know where to find and view all of the NFTs that they have purchased from different marketplaces in one place. That’s because to date, the technology that makes it possible to do so only existed outside these marketplaces.
The new functionality of the Woonkly marketplace “NFT Importer” allows you to import NFTs from other platforms that have been created on the Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum networks. To import them and view their previous purchases, the user must have connected the wallet they used to purchase the NFT that they want to view.
* Tip: The NFT importer will also bring NFTs that have been previously minted in the first version of Woonkly (v1) to the user’s profile.
The new version of Woonkly.com includes all of these features and many others never before seen in the world of NFTs. We will continue to reveal new features as we upload more modules. The function to create Collections by Layers (Layer Collections) will be activated in the coming weeks. Additionally, we will activate the function of interaction with the NFTs from the NFT Aggregator (for now only NFTs from other platforms can be visualized). Mobile applications will also be ready in the coming weeks, although everything depends on the approval of the iOS and Android marketplaces.
